​Sweetwater Union High School District’s Foster & Homeless Youth Education Services Program provides students experiencing homelessness with assistance related to:-

San Diego Unified School District Youth in Transition
Our office works to support the continuity of education of students in transition including: students in foster care, students experiencing homelessness, students who are military dependents, and students who are refugees. The office serves more than 19,000 students each year, accounting for more than 14 percent of the total population of our entire district.

HOPE is a joint effort of the San Diego County Office of Education (SDCOE), Foster Youth and Homeless Education Services and the San Diego Unified School District.

Oz San Diego Shelter Services (YMCA):
YMCA Youth and Family Services (YFS) provides direct service and support to over 15,000 individuals in the San Diego County community each year.

Criteria for Services: Youth is the alleged victim of physical or sexual abuse, neglect, child abuse or exploitation or Youth has no safe living arrangement and is between the ages of 12 and 17.
