  • Sweetwater Union District Youth In Transition
    ​Sweetwater Union High School District’s Foster & Homeless Youth Education Services Program provides students experiencing homelessness with assistance related to:

    • School placement, enrollment, and transfer

    • School meals

    • School transportation

    • School uniforms

    • School supplies

    • Educational services

    • Mental health services

    • Referrals to community organizations/agencies for additional services

    • Case consultation and management

    • Dispute resolution process

  • San Diego Unified School District Youth in Transition
    Our office works to support the continuity of education of students in transition including: students in foster care, students experiencing homelessness, students who are military dependents, and students who are refugees. The office serves more than 19,000 students each year, accounting for more than 14 percent of the total population of our entire district.
