California food stamps program. Now is a great time to apply to Cal Fresh. Because of the ongoing pandemic, a family of four may now receive over $800 a month to purchase food. The amount you receive will depend on your income, expenses, and family size.

Nutritious free meals are available for children and teens 18 and younger at many locations throughout the nation throughout the summer while school is out of session. Use the mapping tool below to find a site near you.

San Diego ASYMCA Programs
In partnership with the San Diego Food Bank to provide a monthly food distribution for qualified families in zip codes 92123 and 92124. Food is first come, first serve for the first approximately 150 families who come and bring their own bag! Time: 10 am to 12 Noon
When: January through October = 4th Thursday of the month, November + December = 3rd Thursday of the month.
Location: ASYMCA Paul Hartley Complex (3293 Santo Road, San Diego, CA 92124)

Courage to Call
In partnership with Feeding San Diego, Courage to Call will be hosting free food distributions.
When: 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month. Who: Open to all Active Duty, Veterans, Guard, reservist and their families. RSVP: please email couragetocall@mhsinc.org for location information for each distribution

San Diego Military Outreach Ministries
Monthly food ministries for military families. Children's (under age 12) clothing, infant diapers, baby food, toys and small household items. Serving Active Duty Junior Enlisted families E5 and below.
When: Tuesdays from 11 am to 1 pm

Other services to military families include food bags and bread distributed regularly in the housing areas. See website for more details
