  • Urban Restoration Counseling Center (URCC)
    URCC is a  community-led organization that provides mental health services to people of color by people of color. URCC’s Therapy for All model of care and training creates space for ALL people to access care and treatment at no charge, or on an accessible sliding-scale basis.

     

  • Mental Health America 
    Mental Health America (MHA)'s work is driven by its commitment to promote mental health as a critical part of overall wellness, including prevention services for all; early identification and intervention for those at risk; integrated care, services, and supports for those who need them; with recovery as the goal. Their toolkit includes the following topics: Adapting after trauma and stress, Dealing with anger and frustration, Getting out of thinking traps, Processing big changes ,Taking time for yourself and Radical acceptance.

     

  • National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI)

  • San Diego Youth Services
    We help kids in danger. We offer emergency services, safe places to live and long-term solutions for kids “on their own” by providing shelter, group homes, foster homes, community centers and transitional housing. Professional help for high-risk youth is provided in 80 community locations. Services include adoption support, anti-bullying awareness and support, child sex trafficking awareness and recovery, foster care, homeless housing and support, juvenile delinquency diversion and intervention, mental health, suicide prevention and intervention.

    The Agency provides a broad range of health and social services to promote wellness, self-sufficiency, and a better quality of life for individuals and families in San Diego County.

     

  • The It’s Up To Us
    The campaign is designed to empower San Diegans to talk openly about mental illness, recognize symptoms, utilize local resources and seek help.

     

  • Mending Matters
    Crisis support , Individual therapy (for students who do not have insurance or who cannot be seen by a school link provider), Support groups (catered to needs of students), Pause Workshops (virtual resources and videos designed to help students “take a pause” and build coping skills). If your preferred language is Spanish to let them know. A Spanish-speaking therapist from the team will call connect with them. Students can also tell their friends or even siblings about this. Students know when other students are struggling in silence and this would be a good way to find those students and support them.

  • Rady Children’s Hospital Telepsychiatry Care
    Rady's Children Hospital has an online telepsychiatry care for children that is free. Anyone who needs help urgently qualifies. The Behavioral Health Urgent Care serves children, teens and their families struggling with urgent emotional and/or behavioral concerns that pose a risk to their safety, or the safety of others, or significantly impair their daily lives. Call:  858-966-5484 (9 a.m.-8 p.m., Monday-Friday) If your child is in crisis after hours, on the weekend or during a holiday, please go to your nearest emergency room, call 911 (ask for Psychiatric Emergency Response Team) or contact the Access and Crisis Line at 888-724-7240.
