    2-1-1 San Diego is a resource and information hub that connects people with community, health and disaster services through a free 24/7 stigma-free confidential phone service and searchable online database.

  • Center for Community Solutions
    CCS operates the only rape crisis center in the city of San Diego along with a countywide 24-hour bilingual crisis helpline. The nonprofit agency also provides emergency domestic violence shelters, hospital and court accompaniment, as well as legal and counseling services for those affected by domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking.

  • Douglas Young Youth & Family Services
    DYYFS provides a full range of services including crisis intervention, individual, family, and group therapy, psychiatric services, medication support, case management, rehabilitation and substance use/abuse treatment to children, adolescents and young adults (up to 21) with a Severe Emotional Disturbance (SED) and their families who are underserved, uninsured and /or full scope Medi-Cal.  They provide clinic, school, home and community based services.​

  • Rady Children’s Hospital Telepsychiatry Care
    Rady's Children Hospital has an online telepsychiatry care for children that is free. Anyone who needs help urgently qualifies. The Behavioral Health Urgent Care serves children, teens and their families struggling with urgent emotional and/or behavioral concerns that pose a risk to their safety, or the safety of others, or significantly impair their daily lives. Call:  858-966-5484 (9 a.m.-8 p.m., Monday-Friday) If your child is in crisis after hours, on the weekend or during a holiday, please go to your nearest emergency room, call 911 (ask for Psychiatric Emergency Response Team) or contact the Access and Crisis Line at 888-724-7240.

     

  • San Diego Youth Services
    We help kids in danger. We offer emergency services, safe places to live and long-term solutions for kids “on their own” by providing shelter, group homes, foster homes, community centers and transitional housing. Professional help for high-risk youth is provided in 80 community locations. Services include adoption support, anti-bullying awareness and support, child sex trafficking awareness and recovery, foster care, homeless housing and support, juvenile delinquency diversion and intervention, mental health, suicide prevention and intervention.

  • SAY San Diego
    SAY San Diego’s Community Assessment Team (CAT) Program provides free case management services, individual and family counseling, parent education, substance abuse assessment & counseling, school advocacy, psychosocial assessment, psychiatric evaluations, psychoeducation/support groups (e.g., anger management, substance abuse, etc.), tutoring and referrals to other community resources.

  • SDSU Center for Community Counseling & Engagement (CCCE) 
    Counseling services are provided by pre-licensed trainees in the fields of Marriage and Family Therapy and Community-based Counseling. Trainees are supervised by licensed therapists, psychologists, supervisors accredited by the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) and/or members of SDSU's Counseling and School Psychology faculty.

  • UPAC - Pan American Communities
    Counselors work with individuals who are experiencing issues such as behavioral challenges, adjustment struggles, symptoms of depression and/or anxiety, trauma, and school and/or family relational problems. Services include: individual, family and/or group therapy, behavioral, talk, play and/or art therapy, medical evaluation and management, case management.  UPAC MCC staff are capable of providing services in Spanish and multiple Asian and Pacific Islander languages.
