Atsuhiko Tateuchi Memorial Scholarship

Preference will be given to students of Japanese ancestry or other Asian ancestry. San Diego Chinese Women's Association (SDCW) Scholarship

Every year, the San Diego Chinese Women’s Association awards scholarships to selected outstanding students of Chinese descent who are attending high school in San Diego County.  Scholarships are open to both male and female applicants of at least one-quarter Chinese descent. Graduating high school seniors of Chinese descent to apply for merit or need based scholarships of $1500 if attending a 4-year college program or $1000 if attending a 2-year community college.

Tina E. Yeh Community Service Scholarship from the Asian Pacific Scholarship

A fellowship grant of up to $5,000 is available for Yale students who will intern for 10 weeks at a non-profit organization that serves Asians (in the U.S. or Canada). The host organization must be tax-exempt and have at least one paid full-time employee.

Kao Kalia Yang Scholarship Program

The Robin-Hwajin Yoon Kim Foundation supports education, the underprivileged, and positive social impact initiatives. It has established this scholarship program to help economically-challenged Hmong American youth fulfill their dreams of obtaining higher education. Applicants should be Blood descendants of Hmong race or ethnically identified as Hmong American (with citizenship or as a permanent residents). Applicants should plan to attend college as full-time, degree-seeking students in the Fall of 2023. A minimum GPA of 2.0 is required, and applicants should have a household income at or below the Low Income Level. Open to all majors.

The Ron Brown Scholarship

This is a national scholarship for low-income African American high school seniors. Ron Brown Scholars receive $40,000 toward their college of choice, and are provided mentoring, leadership experiences, and service opportunities. Applicants for this scholarship should be Black/African American, US citizens or permanent residents, and a current high school senior at the time of their application.

Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. is the first intercollegiate Greek-letter fraternity established for African-American men. The Fraternity initially served as a study and support group for minority students who faced racial prejudice, both educationally and socially, at Cornell University. Social Change Fund United Scholarship

Created in 2020 by philanthropists, entrepreneurs, and NBA superstars Carmelo Anthony, Chris Paul, and Dwyane Wade to support critical and timely issues impacting the Black community. They have created The Social Change Fund United Scholarship to help three students of color achieve their dreams of becoming mental health professionals with $5,000 each toward their education. Black students currently studying to receive degrees in mental health-related fields at U.S. based colleges and universities are eligible to apply. Applicants must be third or fourth-year undergraduate students, graduate students, or those pursuing postgraduate certificates.
